ParaApp privacy policy

This policy explains how ParaApp (“the App”), operated by Squirrel Systems LLC, handles information. ParaApp has no conventional user account. Personal mining views and chat participation use the Bitcoin payout address you choose to enter.

Information handled

• Bitcoin payout address: used to request public mining statistics and identify participation in community chat.
• Notification token: stored when you enable push notifications or remote widget updates so messages can reach your device.
• Community content: messages, reactions, optional nickname, blocks, reports, and moderation actions associated with chat use.
• Local miner information: device addresses, settings, labels, and readings used for discovery and management on your local network.
• Request metadata: limited technical information processed by infrastructure providers to operate and protect the service.

ParaApp does not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers, and Squirrel Systems does not sell personal information.

How information is used

• Display mining statistics for the address you enter.
• Deliver notifications and widget updates you enable.
• Operate community messages, reactions, nicknames, blocks, and reports.
• Moderate chat and enforce the terms and community guidelines.
• Discover and manage supported hardware on your local network.

Community chat

Messages, reactions, optional nicknames, and a shortened form of the associated payout address are visible to other chat users. Messages and reactions are retained on a rolling approximately 30-day basis. Reports, bans, and related moderation records may be retained longer as needed to operate a safe community.

Service providers

Cloudflare provides backend and database infrastructure. Expo provides push notification delivery. Apple and Google provide platform notification and store services. These providers process information needed to perform those services under their own applicable terms.

Your choices

• Use general pool views without entering a payout address.
• Disable notifications and widgets in ParaApp or device settings.
• Set or clear a chat nickname and block or unblock other users.
• Request deletion of chat content or related service data by emailing us.

Security and children

We use reasonable safeguards, but no system is completely secure. ParaApp’s general mining tools are not directed at collecting information from children. Community chat requires users to be at least 17, or the age of majority where higher.
